What Now?

Ok. I've decided on the site that I will use to establish my home based business. The training component I feel was easy enough to follow and the program gave me a number of avenues to pursue in order to possibly build my business. But....! my Blog from what I can figure out is out there in never never pageland and it is going to be a huge job to work it to the front page.

Now, I have had 2 or 3 businesses in my time and have been able to figure out how to promote the business and that is just what I will have to do with this one as well. So the dilemma is, do I advertise, do referrals, work traffic exchanges, and writing articles for other sites as was suggested by the website I chose. What is tempting though is to hookup with another site and see how that will augment my program and give it a boost up toward page one. But I really don't want to start putting out more money that I have not yet made before I actually know a little more about this business of promoting your site.

One thing that I am thinking greatly about doing and that is joining 1 or 2 forums on home based businesses and see what feed back I can get from them. In the meanwhile, I'm going to continue with the traffic exchanges and write some articles for now until I know a little more...no a lot more about promoting my site.

My New Search for a Home Based Business

The statistics say that in the United States every 5 people has a computer and I would be willing to guess that at least 2 out of the 5 has one in their home and every time they sit down to that computer a thought crosses their mind about what kind of home based business would generate an income or supplemental income for my family.

I’m one of those 5 people searching for that home based business. Over the past decade or so I have signed up for several home based businesses. Medical Billing; Telemarketing; Legal Typing; and Accountant’s Assistant (working from home) to a few. Out of the ones I named only 1 home based business was legitimate, but I had to commit to long scheduled hours in front of my computer waiting for the phone to ring. My first check was for $115.00 for 40 scheduled hours. Needless, to say I knew that would never better my income at least not at that rate of return. With the Accountant’s Assistant I never got pass my first contact because I received an email from them asking me to “Show My Trust.” To show my trust in them I was to wire transfer $350 for the additional accounting software so they could purchase it for me and I was to keep $100 to pay myself. Shall we all say “SCAM.” Oh my! I had a few choice words for them.

None of this discouraged me from continuing my search for that elusive home based business. Mainly, because every time I went out on the computer searching businesses and reading more and more articles about home based businesses, I was beginning to discover that it was evolving into a growing industry. Since more and more big businesses were discovering how they could use this new resource people to help further sells of its products. With this in mind I responded to an email offering me an opportunity to try their plan for an online store, but it was a link on this site that caught my interest. This link offered a Third Party pay plan; 90 days money back if dissatisfied with the plan; the suggested companies were free of charge to use; Resources were free to sign up for and much more. CLICK HERE for details. These were the type of characteristics I was looking for in a home based business. So I signed up!

Welcome to my new adventure and keep in touch to see how I’m getting along with my new “BLOG” home based business idea. I also hope that you are searching for that idea that will meet your home based business dreams.
